About 17 mm diameter. About 8.5 grams of near pure gold. Obverse: Athena wearing crested Corinthian helmet pushed back on her head. Helmet is decorated with snake. Of the thousands of Alexander gold staters which I have owned or seen, this is the finest. Immaculate blazing surfaces with hard strike from fresh dies.
